Our client, a Geneva-based Swiss bank, is seeking an Accountant - Financial & Regulatory Reporting
VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
- Oversee daily accounting operations for one or several Group entities.
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for specific accounts.
- Support the Head of Accounting in preparing the Group’s half-year and year-end financial statements.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested by senior management.
- Produce and submit regulatory statistics for all operating entities within the Group to the Swiss National Bank.
- Collaborate closely with the Risk Department on matters related to Basel Principles, capital adequacy, liquidity coverage ratios (LCR), net stable funding ratios (NSFR), leverage ratios, and interest rate risk.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and simulations related to capital adequacy, advising the Group on potential corporate actions.
- Conduct regular regulatory monitoring and support Basel IV implementation across the Group.
VOTRE PROFIL
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliancea iin a private bank or in an audit firm.
- Familiarity with Swiss banking regulations and Basel standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in Fire/Focus, SAP/G2, or similar accounting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fluent in both English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication in both languages.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including finance, risk, and compliance departments.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in analyzing and presenting financial data.
